Mr. Chhabra is a Chemical Engineer and worked for Union Carbide Corporation until his retirement in 1987. Mr. Chhabra developed the Best Western Cary in 1984, which the family owns and operates to this day. Mr. Chhabra provides overall vision for the company.

Shahn graduated in 1995 from North Carolina State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Shahn has operational responsibilities for CMC Hotels and is in charge of Chhabra Construction Corporation. The construction company was formed in 1996 and holds an Unlimited Contractors’ License. Mr. Chhabra is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization and a past board member of TrustAtlantic Bank.

Sheri Erhart joined CMC Hotels in 1997 after graduating from North Carolina State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering.  Mrs. Erhart serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Greater Raleigh CVB and the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association. She has been a member of Marriott’s Owner Advisory Council since 2016.
